About Me
Welcome and thanks for dropping by.
I joined Actors Equity in 1976 so I guess you could say I am a career actor. I originally trained in London at E.15 Stratford and later with Ms Uta Hagen in New York. I enjoyed a long career in television and film then moved into teaching and coaching. My passion remains the Theatre and I currently work with my wife's company - Theatre Excentrique, which focuses on plays that were not originally written in English. See: www.theatrexcentrique.com
If there is a project you have in mind, just email me.
Cheers, Gerry

CoRPORATE TRAINER

30 years of experience
as a corporate trainer
Like many actors I have diversified into several fields. I would encourage all actors to do the same as the summit of Mt Everest in only 3 metres square. Not a lot of room at the top.
I taught at NIDA for 9 years and created their 1-year TV Presenters course. I was also the senior trainer within their Corporate Performance division. For The Actors Centre in Sydney, I have taught various drop-in classes. For the Australian College of Entertainers in Melbourne I was Head of Drama. Currently, I am an affiliate lecturer at UNSW coaching business presentation skills for the full-time MBA candidates.
My teaching and training philosophy is informed by my academic foundation, industry knowledge and practical life lessons.
Whether you are looking for a one or two day intensive workshop or perhaps a course that runs over several weeks, I can create something to suit your precise needs.
My workshops are designed to be challenging, motivational and fun with loads of practical experience (doing not talking), all within a safe, creative and constructive environment.
